Your time is valuable so make it count. You can arrive up to 15 minutes early for your session to go over wardrobe options.
Late Policy If you are more than 30 minutes behind your scheduled shoot time we may have to reschedule your session and you’ll lose your deposit. No one wins in this scenario so try not to be too late!
Know your type. Headshots are becoming more character driven so your wardrobe will play a significant counterpart on how your look translates on camera. Consult with your agent/manager or with coaches and friends.
Simplicity is always best, so when in doubt keep in mind that “less is more.”
Avoid patterns, stripes, logos, as they can be distracting.
Neutral colors such as beige, white, black, tan and grey often photograph the best. They complement your skin tones and don’t conflict with common background elements.
Wear clothing that fits properly. A proper fit that allows you to move and feel comfortable will help you look more confident in your portrait.
If you normally wear glasses, you should wear them for your session as you want you to look like you usually do. Don’t worry about shine or glare, as Sean knows how to work around it.
Wear minimal or no jewelry for your session. Jewelry that you wear on a daily basis is fine, but it's preferable not to have you accessorize and add extra jewelry that you usually wouldn’t wear. If anything, it should be kept simple to none, and its color should be neutral and non-distracting.
A good reference is JCrew or Banana Republic. Consult with your agency to find if they are looking for anything specific (ie. beauty, suit, corporate, fitness, etc.).
Wardrobe for modeling can make or break your images.
Steamer All clothes will be hanged and steamed at the studio.
Shoe styles should be simple and not distracting. Generally 2-4 pairs is more than enough.

HAIR AND MAKEUP (HM)
Our artist will be helping you throughout your shoot. Please arrive with washed/dried hair and makeup done to the best of your ability. Our artist will help refine and polish what you have done. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to ask. Let us know if you have any allergies prior to arriving.
Q/A : Why doesn’t the artist do everything from scratch? Good question! Two reasons. Firstly, having our artist booked for a full day of shoots reduces the cost of hiring an artist - in turn saving you money. Lastly, when you set the foundation for your makeup it sets the tone of how you like your makeup done allowing us to work in the direction of what you like.
Q/A : I don’t know how to do my hair and makeup at all. Can they do it from scratch? Sure thing! The cost of a private hair and makeup is $295*
Doing your own HM Please prepare your hair and makeup prior to arriving. You are welcome to make any necessary adjustments once you arrive. All necessary supplies should be provided by you.
Outside artists are not permitted. See why HERE.
*HM Payment If you have booked your own private hair/makeup artist please bring a cash payment for this service. All payments, including hair and makeup, will be given to Sean at the end of your shoot.
The balance of your session is paid at the end of your session. You may pay by cash, credit, debit, check, or Venmo.
If paying by cash you will receive a 5% discount on the cost of your session excluding hair and makeup.
