What time do you shoot? How far in advance should I book?

We normally book 3-5 weeks out. Sometimes we have last minute openings so feel free to email and ask!

How many sessions do you book per day?

This is largely based on the type of session and clients we are working with on a given day. More than enough time is allotted for each session.

How long is a photo shoot?

Sessions can range from 30 minutes to over hour hours.. This is largely based on what we are aiming to accomplish within your session.

What is a look?

A look is one outfit photographed under a particular lighting setup. Adding glasses or removing a tie does not count as a separate look. We are happily flexible and will split a look in half, i.e. with glasses and without. That being said, changing tops, jackets, pants, etc., is considered a separate look.

Is retouching included?

Retouching is a separate cost. This is because there is a separate artist working on your chosen image/s in great detail.

What should I bring?

Bring clothes you love to wear and would wear to an audition. Give thought to your character types and bring a selection of clothes that make most sense. Don’t worry about what will photograph well - if you love it bring it (this includes black and white). Sean suggests 1-3 options per look. Ask to schedule a call with Sean if you have additional questions.

Do you offer student discounts?

Individual rates are as stated on the information - pricing page. Groups of three or more can receive a 10% discount. Return Sean Turi clients receive a 10% discount on all photo sessions.

Can I bring my own hair and makeup artist?

Unfortunately, outside artists are not permitted to work in the studio due to insurance purposes and workflow standards. This does not mean your artist isn't amazing and we don't like them. The work around for this is to have your artist prepare you prior to arriving. Once at the studio you can make any necessary adjustments.

Will weather effect my shoot?

This depends - for lifestyle modeling, there is a good change you may want to reschedule.. Actor or corporate headshots, typically no unless we have arranged to shoot an outside look for you. We touch base with you 24 hours prior to your scheduled shoot date to confirm your session.

Payment options.

A $95 deposit is due one week prior to your schedule shoot to confirm your time slot. Final balance is due at the end of your session. You may pay by cash, credit, debit, check, or Venmo, Paypal, and Apple Pay.

Do I get to see my pictures during the shoot?

Absolutely! Sean will share your images with you on the back of the camera as we shoot. If you are shooting the Half Day or Full Day sessions we display your images on our giant projection screen.

How many photos are taken?

There is no limit on exposures. We stop when we feel we have accomplished your goal.

Do I receive all the photos from my shoot?

Yes, all photos are given same day via an online gallery in high resolution and no watermark.

Can you print and retouch other photographers photos?

Retouching - Yes! Printing - we refer our clients to www.colorworksnyc.com or www.reproductions.com
